Registration is now open for the 2024 IESBVI Spring Family Conference to be held at Duncombe Elementary, 1620 6th Ave. North in Fort Dodge.
Friday, April 12: Activities for day and night
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Family Activity
Studio Fusion in Fort Dodge (21 S 12th Street) invites families to create art on glass, pottery or canvas. Cost is $15 – $20 per person (not covered by IESBVI). Instruction included.
5 – 8 p.m.: Family Night
Enjoy free family activities like a silent disco, pizza party, board games and more! Activities also held at Duncombe Elementary.
Saturday, April 13, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. : Conference
The conference is all about connecting with other IESBVI families who share your experience. Learn about resources from IESBVI and be inspired by the keynote presenters!
- All families who attend will receive a stipend.
- Daycare for young children provided.
- Activities offered for kids aged 4 to 21 years old.
- Free lunch and snacks for conference attendees.
- Families will receive free two-hour passes to Fort Dodge’s Fort Frenzy. Tickets may be used before or after the conference. The passes may be used at the following areas: Spring Zone, Laser Tag, Valo Jump and Halogate. Staying an extra night? Lodging: $80 plus tax per night at Brookstone Hotel & Suites. 5 So. 32nd St., Fort Dodge. Reserve your room by March 22!

- Birth – Elementary students
- Transition: older students
- Students who are multiply impaired and visually impaired
