
Brandon Schellhorn has been named regional director at Iowa Educational Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IESBVI). Brandon most recently was the low vision consultant and clinics coordinator, where he led statewide clinics and provided professional development and instructional coaching to vision staff. He also has served on the IESBVI leadership and expanded core curriculum committees.
Prior to his low vision role, he was a teacher for the blind and visually impaired. Many students will recognize him as the long-time director of Camp Abilities. Brandon holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and education for the visually impaired. He began the new role Aug. 15.
